夏少红,1981年6月生,研究员,博士生导师,2011年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会并获得优秀会员称号,2013年获得国家基金委地学部“优秀青年基金”资助,2014年获得国家基金委重大研究计划重点项目资助并在2017年结题答辩中被评为“优秀”,相继获得中科院卓越青年科学家、广东省特支计划青年拔尖人才等称号。2004年毕业于中国地质大学(武汉),2009年获得中国科学院大学海洋地质专业博士学位。2006、2007、2014年相继赴日本爱媛大学、日本东北大学以及英国南安普顿大学进行合作研究。2014年12月被评为研究员,2016年1月在中科院南海海洋研究所负责组建“海底岩浆活动与地幔动力学”学科组。主持国家基金重点项目、优秀青年基金、面上项目、青年项目等4项,广东省与中科院人才类项目等3项,负责中科院先导专项课题1项,目前共发表研究论文50多篇,其中Geology、GRL、GR、G-Cubed等SCI/EI论文30多篇。
