主要从事海洋生态毒理学方面的研究,着眼于近岸与远海砷污染问题,围绕砷在海洋生物中的生物地球化学行为和生态毒理效应开展工作,阐明了海洋和淡水鱼类中砷的生物累积和生物转化异同机制,解析了海洋鱼类对食物相无机砷的生物转化和解毒策略,揭示了肠道微生物介导海洋鱼类砷代谢的机制。现主持国家青年科学基金项目1项和广州市基础与应用基础研究项目1项,作为骨干成员参与国家重点研发项目、中科院先导专项等多个重大科研项目。目前发表科研论文13篇,其中以第一作者发表SCI论文4篇、英文专著章节2篇。
