蔡树群博士，主要从事海洋内波和环流及河口近岸水动力学的研究，取得了一些创新学术成果。在《Geophysical Research Letters》、《Journal of Physical Oceanography》、《Journal of Geophysical Research》等国内外主要刊物发表论文170多篇，其中SCI收录的第一作者论文27篇，入选国家杰出青年基金获得者等
