主要从事近海河口海湾环境研究。目前的研究内容包括(1)基于微生物组学分析有机碳与微生物的相互作用关系;(2)海洋生源凝胶颗粒的碳汇效应;(3)近岸河口海湾生态环境;(4)红树林资源与保护以及碳汇研究;

2006-至今:中国科学院南海海洋研究所,先后任助理研究员和副研究员。
2014-2015:德国亥姆霍兹GEOMAR海洋研究中心,访问学者。
