2008年起在中国科学院南海海洋研究所边缘海与大洋地质重点实验室“珊瑚礁、红树林及其环境记录学科组”工作,期间赴美国国家珊瑚礁研究所、香港科技大学访问交流各一年。近年来,共主持纵向科研项目课题14项,包括国家级项目课题6项,其中国家自然科学基金项目2项,科技部重点研发项目和重大科学研究计划子课题各1项;已发表学术论文64篇,其中第一/通讯作者论文24篇(SCI论文112篇,含中科院二区6篇,其中TOP论文3篇)。
